Chapter I • The Spark in Paradise (2011)
Born at Railay Beach
It all started during a sabbatical on the stunning shores of Railay Beach. Spotting a massive gap in an un-digitized local market, we set up our first "garage project"—not in an actual garage, but right in a hotel lobby next to a pool. From that initial spark, we joined early online platforms and began selling island excursions across Southern Thailand.
Chapter II • The Krabi Town Hub
Pioneering Seamless Travel
To overcome Railay's isolation, we opened a physical agency counter in the heart of Krabi Town attached to Chok Dee Restaurant. It quickly became a vibrant traveler hub. Here, we developed our first website and pioneered route innovations—such as offering direct joint bus and ferry tickets from Koh Phi Phi to the Koh Phangan Full Moon Party on a single booking.
Chapter III • Digital Growth & Global Partnerships
Scaling Up Modern Systems
Pivoting to a 100% online business, we partnered with Viator as one of their initial Premier Partners following their acquisition by TripAdvisor. As booking volumes grew, we threw out paper sticky notes and built our own custom reservation platform to automate operations and manage guest logistics seamlessly.
Chapter IV • The Pause, Remote Work & Phayun.cloud
Building Future-Proof Tech
During the pandemic, we overhauled our platform to enable remote work using multi-SIM technology and unified customer support platforms like respond.io. To empower other operators, we also launched phayun.cloud—a cloud booking management system designed specifically for tour suppliers.
