Phi Phi Leh Sunset Trip by Arisa Speed Boat
Circle the cliffs of Phi Phi Leh
Highlights
- Detailed speedboat cruise around Phi Phi Leh
- Watch crab-eating macaques at Monkey Beach
- Snorkel on the coral reefs of Shark Point & Phi Leh Lagoon
- Cruise into Maya Bay & Phi Leh Lagoon
- Enjoy bioluminescent plankton & the sunset over the Andaman Sea
What can you expect
Meet the lovely crew of Arisa Speedboat at McDonald’s near Ton Sai Pier and cruise by spacious speedboat with a maximum of 35 guests aboard from Phi Phi Don to Phi Phi Leh Island.
Make a short stop on the way at the famous Monkey Beach. Here you can watch wild crab-eating macaques playing at the white sandy beach. The stunning 150m-long strip of white powdery sand fringed by emerald water is an excellent spot for snorkeling.
Continue to Shark Point which is justifiably the most popular of the local dive sites. Named after the docile Leopard Sharks that are often encountered resting on the sandy seafloor here. Approaching from the sea Shark Point appears as a tiny rock outcropping of no particular interest but beneath the surface lies a vast multicoloured reef teeming with marine life.
Head further to Viking Cave to see where the Phi Phi birds nest soup are harvested. Then cruise slowly past Loh Samah Bay and Maya Bay but without access to 'The Beach'. To actually see the bay without any boats moored and not a single person or footprint in the sand is truly a sight to behold.
Enjoy snorkeling in the spectacular Phi Leh Lagoon where you will be surrounded by towering limestone cliffs rising out of the turquoise sea.
On the way back circling around Phi Phi Let Island you can fully enjoy the sunset over the Andaman Sea. The highlight of this trip is the abundance of sparkling bioluminescent plankton so you will get to experience the psychedelic underwater show.
