What can you expect

Get picked up from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang and Tubkaek Beach. Drive by minivan to Laem Kruad Pier near Lanta where you will undergo a short health checkup by the staff of Koh Jum Sea Hunter.

You will then board the convenient speedboat and cruise to Koh Rok in less than 1 hour with professional skipper and knowledgeable fluent English speaking tour guide.

The sister islands of Koh Rok consist of Koh Rok Nai (the 'inner' island which is closer to the mainland) and Koh Rok Nok (the 'outer' island). They are separated by a 250 m coral channel and much of the corals are not more than 5 meters under the surface and can be easily explored with a snorkel.

During the trip you will make several snorkel stops around Koh Rok and enjoy a delicious Thai lunch served on Koh Rok Nai. Spend leisure time strolling on the long white sandy beaches. Our captain will also take you to a secret Ha Island which consists of 5 limestone rocks and offers great snorkeling.

Remember that it's only available from 15th October to 15th May every year due to the tropical monsoons and the closure of the National Park during low season.

  • 09:00 - 10:30: Cruise by speedboat to Koh Rok Nai
  • 10:30 - 11:15: Snorkel at Koh Rok Nai
  • 11:15 - 12:00: More snorkeling in the channel between the 2 islands
  • 12:00 - 13:40: Enjoy a Thai buffet lunch on Koh Rok Nok
  • 13:00 - 13:40: Relax on the beach
  • 13:40 - 14:30: Cruise further to Koh Haa
  • 14:30 - 15:15: Enjoy more snorkeling around the 5 limestone islets
  • 15:15 - 15:30: Refresh with fruits & drinks
  • 15:30 - 16:15: Head back to Laem Kruad Pier

  • Bring a towel, waterproof bag, swimwear, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, flip flops and a camera.
  • Speed boats carry passengers as close to the beach as they can so passengers can hop off and on easily.
  • Wear flip flops or water shoes in case there are shells or rocks on the sand and shorts rather than pants as the water level may be above the knees when hopping off/on the boat.
  • This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, infants under 2 years or people with back or neck problems.

National Park Entrance Fee

There is an entrance fee for 'Moo Koh Lanta National Park' of 200 THB per adult and 100 THB per child to be paid! These fees are to help park rangers keep the park and wildlife protected and clean so we can enjoy the natural beauty.
