Sea Cave Safari to Panak Island in Phang Nga Bay from Phuket
Discover Thailand's secret cave lagoons
Highlights
- Paddle though secret passageway
- Explore hidden caves at Panak Island
- Paddle on a kayak at breathtaking Hong Island
- Enjoy a yummie Thai style lunch onboard the tour boat
- Swim and relax at Lawa Island
What can you expect
Start the sea cave safari in the early morning with a convenient pickup service from your hotel by VIP bus. Get transferred to Laem Sai Pier where you will meet the lovely crew of Sea Cave Canoe. After a short health screening, you can enjoy a Thai style breakfast with view to the turquoise tree shimmering Phang Nga Bay.
Depart on the 2-deck escort boat and head deep into Phang Nga Bay with Panak Island as the first destination. After arrival at Koh Panak, start paddling into various sea caves including Bat, Oyster, Diamond and Mangrove Cave which lead into the mysterious inner of the island.
Continue to the nearby Koh Hong for more sea cave kayaking. Expect a unique microcosm with hidden realms rich in unspoiled flora and fauna. These hongs ('rooms' in Thai) are collapsed cave systems open to the sky and surrounded by towering limestone walls.
After a demanding morning program, it is time to enjoy a rich and healthy Thai style lunch on board the comfortable boat while cruising to the last stop at Lawa Island (or Panak Island depending on the sea conditions). For kayak lovers, there is the opportunity for a self-paddle session, and the others can just have a sim and relax at the beach.
