4 Islands Snorkeling Tour by Longtail Boat from Krabi with Walk on Tombolo
Krabi all-in-one island tour
Highlights
- Visit Princess Cave at the world-renowned Phra Nang Cave Beach
- Swim in the crystal clear water of Poda Island
- Enjoy a Thai style boxed picnic lunch at the beach
- Cruise around the “head” of Chicken Island
- Walk along the sweeping three-pronged sandbar at Tup & Mor islets
What can you expect
Start the 4 island tour directly from your hotel lobby in Krabi where the driver of Krabi Sunset Tours will pick you up in the morning. Undergo a short health check-up by the crew at Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang and board the wooden longtail boat. Head over to the 4 Islands group with a short stopover at Railay Beach to pickup fellow explorers.
The first stop is at the world-renowned Phra Nang Cave Beach. Experience vertical limestone cliffs, green jungle, monkeys in tropical trees, fine soft sand and clear turquoise waters. The main attraction is the Princess Cave with the Penis Shrine at the end of the beach, where fishermen still make offerings in the form of incense and flowers to ensure a safe journey.
Continue to Poda Island, which is famous for its white beaches and turquoise water. The huge rock in front of the island has been featured on countless postcards, so don’t miss the opportunity to snap your own photo memory here. After swimming and splashing, enjoy a Thai style boxed picnic lunch at the beach and walk a little further towards the south where you can find more peace.
Then cruise around the “head” of Chicken Island, with the odd rocky outcrop that earned it its name also makes a good photo opportunity. Next stop is at Koh Tub where you can walk across the spectacular sandbar that connects it to the Chicken and Mor Islands nearby before returning to the pier in Ao Nang.

Important
- Bring a towel, waterproof bag, swimwear, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, flip flops and a camera.
- During certain seasons, jellyfish may be present in the Andaman Sea, and contact can cause skin irritation or discomfort. To minimize the risk, we recommend wearing protective clothing such as watershoes and long swimwear when swimming.
- Ensuring your safety is our top priority. To that end, we strongly recommend wearing a life jacket throughout the entire boat ride to the islands and while snorkeling.
- Longtail boats navigate close to the shoreline, allowing passengers a convenient and effortless transition to the beach.
- While flip-flops are convenient, water shoes offer better protection against sharp objects like shells or rocks on the sand, and provide improved traction on wet surfaces.
- Shorts are ideal as they dry quickly and allow for greater freedom of movement, especially if the water level reaches above your knees when getting on or off the boat.
- This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, infants under 2 years or people with back or neck problems.
